How your data is handled
What we hold, where research comes from, and what we do not do.
What we hold for you
Your firm’s profile — sectors, regions, size band, ownership, the seats you fill, your keywords and your off-limits lists. Your briefs. The reports we produce from them. The opportunities we surface and which ones you have read. The people you have given seats to.
That is the material the service runs on, and it is the material that makes the next report better than the last one.
Where research comes from
Public sources: regulatory filings, company announcements, court and registry records, the press, and the specialist sources that surface companies which never file anything. Which of those we lean on is decided by your profile — ownership and company size change where the evidence actually lives.
Every figure in a report links to the source it came from, so you can check any of it without asking us.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not use one firm’s briefs to inform another firm’s reports. We do not hold your card details — those go straight to our payment processor.
Deleting things
Removing a person removes their access, not the firm’s reports. Deleting the organization removes the profile, the monitor and the library, and only the person who created the firm can do it. Both are described under your organization.
If you need something specific removed — a name that should never have been on an off-limits list, a brief that referenced a client relationship you cannot record — ask your account manager. It is a conversation, and a short one.
