Off-limits lists

The companies and people we filter out of everything.

A brief tells us who to find. It never tells us who you cannot approach, and in search that is often a large part of the market.

Anything on your off-limits lists is filtered out of every report and every alert, so what comes back is only ever names you can actually call.

What belongs here

Companies. Your current and recent clients, and any firm you will not approach for relationship reasons. While you hold a client you generally cannot recruit out of that client, so your own client companies are protected as sourcing grounds.

People. Anyone you have placed. You do not re-recruit someone you just placed, and a report that suggests it is a report you cannot send on.

You do not need the full list on day one

Give us what you know now, one name per line. Add to it as your book moves. That record is part of what makes the research fit your firm rather than any firm, and it is worth revisiting whenever you win a client or close a placement.

Both lists live under Settings, then Your market.

Two people build this, and both of them answer email.

No support tier, no ticket queue. If the manual did not answer it, ask us directly.
