Changing or cancelling
Leaving, and what happens to your work if you do.
Cancelling
Cancel plan, under Settings, then Billing. You keep everything until the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing further is charged.
If your plan is inside a minimum term the button is disabled and the screen names the date the term runs to. Cancelling before then is a conversation with your account manager, not a refusal.
Tell your account manager as well. A cancellation is almost always a sign that something is not working — a monitor that never got tuned, a report that missed the brief, a plan that was the wrong shape for your book — and every one of those is fixable in less time than it takes to find another supplier.
What happens to your work
Your reports belong to your firm. Cancelling ends the subscription; it is not a request to destroy your library, and we do not treat it as one. If you want the organization and everything in it removed, that is a separate, deliberate act — see your organization.
Pausing instead
If the reason is a quiet quarter rather than the service, say so. Cancelling never takes the searches you have already paid for, so the balance is not what is at stake; the profile and the monitor are. Pausing is a conversation rather than a button, and it usually ends better than cancelling and rebuilding a profile from scratch three months later.
