Sharing and exporting

Handing a report to a client under your own name.

A delivered report is already your firm's document. Your logo, your colour and your house voice are applied when it is written, not bolted on at export — which is why you can send one on without editing it first.

Inside your firm

Everyone in your organization sees every report in the library. That is the point of one account per firm: a colleague picking up your mandate finds the research where they expect it, rather than in an inbox they do not have access to.

To bring someone in, invite them under Settings, then Members. Seats are not counted and not charged for, so there is never a reason to share a login.

Share on the report mints a link that opens that one report and nothing else. The recipient needs no login, and never reaches your portal — which holds your whole book, every mandate and every name you are watching.

Give each link a label so you know who has which. Then:

  • It expires. 7, 30 or 90 days, and 30 by default. There is no "never": a permanent link is a document you have lost control of without knowing it.
  • You can revoke it at any time, and the link stops working immediately.
  • You can see what they read — whether it was opened, how many times, and how long they spent. That is often the most useful thing on the page: a prospect who spent nine minutes in the compensation section has told you what the next conversation is about.
  • Your pitch notes stay behind. The modules headed "Pitch:", and anything else written for your side of the conversation rather than your client's, are dropped from the link and from the PDF. If either looks shorter than the screen, that is why. Nothing you commissioned is affected.

Outside your firm: a PDF

Download produces a PDF of the report, rendered on demand and branded as the screen is, with the same pitch notes left behind as above. It takes a few seconds. Use it when a client wants a file to keep or to circulate internally, and a link when you want to know whether they read it.

What carries your brand

Your logo, your colour and your writing style, all from Settings, then Organization. Change any of them and the change applies to the next report; reports already delivered stay as they were sent, which is what you want when a client has the earlier version in front of them.

Two people build this, and both of them answer email.

No support tier, no ticket queue. If the manual did not answer it, ask us directly.
